Bachelor (Honors), Bachelor (Pass) or equivalent degree has been made as an educational qualification for both the applicant men and women. Last year the online application fee was Tk 166 but this time the application fee is being increased a bit. With the help of BUET and Teletalk mobile companies, applications will be accepted, question papers will be sent to the center, book evaluation and results will be published.

It is learned that the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education sent a proposal to the Prime Minister on June 16 with the age limit of two years for pre-primary and four years for admission. Pre-primary level government primary schools are providing one-year term education for children above five years of age.

প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা অধিদপ্তরের (ডিপিই) সহকারী পরিচালক নিয়োগ হিসেবে কর্মরত সিনিয়র সহকারী সচিব আতিক এস বি সাত্তার প্রথম আলোকে বলেন, ঢাকা বিভাগে পদ ২ লাখ ৪০ হাজার ৬১৯ টি, রাজশাহীতে পদ ২ লাখ ১০ হাজার ৪৩০ টি, খুলনায় ১ লাখ ৭৮ হাজার ৮০৩ টি, ময়মনসিংহে ১ লাখ ১২ হাজার ২৫৬ টি, চট্টগ্রামে ১ লাখ ৯৯ হাজার ২৩৬ টি, বরিশালে ১ লাখ ৯ হাজার ৩৪৪টি, সিলেট ৬২ হাজার ৬০৭টি এবং রংপুর বিভাগে ১ লাখ ৯৬ হাজার ১৬৬ টি। তিনি জানান, সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ের সহকারী শিক্ষক পদে নিয়োগ পেতে আবেদন করেছেন ১৩ লাখ ৯ হাজার ৪৬১ জন।
