It will appoint 12 women for the post of Midwife for the area of 11 Union Srimongal and kamalgonj upozilla in Moulovibazar district. Appointed female candidates have to work for a period till December 2018 temporarily but it might be expanded. You will appoint for midwifery service for “Mother and child center” and Health and family welfare center at the Tea garden area of moulovibazar district. You have to remind that this is a contractual job but a government job indeed.
The Directorate General of Family Planning will appoint 12 midwives contractually. You can also apply if you’re interested and you have qualifications.
Educational Qualifications of Directorate General of Family Planning Circular 2020
Candidate must have 3 years Diploma degree in Midwifery from any government recognized institutions and certified by the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC). Computer management, e-mail communication, Internet browsing skills is a must. Experienced candidates in the field of Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning programs will be given priority. Local candidates of the Moulovibazar district will get preference.
Major duties:
- The midwife has to support the patient for delivery / Childbirth normally in the local Health Center.
- Ensure incentive care service to the reffed patient.
- The midwife has to stay at the Health center all-time.
- An appointed Midwife will serve ANC & PNC service.
- After delivery Counseling has to be provided to the Patient.
- Counseling on Before and after delivery complexity to the patient and the family.

Informing the patient and her family about after and before childbirth hazard and counseling about preparation for childbirth. Giving Consultancy to the patient and family according to Physicians’ prescriptions. And monitoring the patient’s and Baby’s health condition. Inform the updated information of Impregnate women to the Medical officer of the health center. The machinery of the Health center has to keep Active, neat, and clean. You have to consult the mother and maintain campaigns on Breast giving to the baby.
